Canopy Medical Spanish brings new functionality to mobile devices
LanguageMate, the leader in developing innovations for patient-provider communication, will be unveiling the next-generation of its Canopy Medical Language Platform at the American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC) Annual Meeting from November 4th through 9th in Denver, CO. Last year, LanguageMate announced the launch of Canopy Medical Spanish, an e-learning program designed to help medical professionals deliver care that is linguistically competent and culturally sensitive to their diverse patient populations.
Canopy Medical Spanish is an NIH-funded e-learning platform developed specifically to meet the needs of busy medical students, residents and practicing professionals. Using the highly effective Authentic Context Tutoring (ACT) methodology, Canopy‘s multi-level curriculum offers more than 40 hours of interactive learning experience and guides users through the acquisition, retention and application phases of the communicative skills development process in medical Spanish.
At the upcoming AAMC conference, LanguageMate is very pleased to be unveiling the mobile app extension to the Canopy platform. The Canopy Mobile app offers several exciting new features, including:
1. Learning on-the-go, bringing a highly interactive learning experience to your mobile device for access anywhere
2. Clinical Phrasebook, offering a dynamic, audio-enabled set of clinical modules to help you interact with your patients in 10 languages including Spanish, Chinese, and Russian
